Make an account
Your username is what friends type to add you. Nothing else about you is asked for — no email, no school, no year.
Already have one?
There is no email on Quad. Instead you get six words at the end of this — write them down, and they are how you get back in if you forget your password.
Use your recovery phrase
The six words you wrote down when you made the account. Then pick a new password.
Write these down
These six words are how you get back in if you forget your password. There is no email on Quad, so this is the only way. You will not see them again.
@you
This is what friends see when they add you.
Username
Changing it does not lose anything — your chats, streaks and saved games are filed under you, not under your name. Friends will see the new one.
Picture
These are the only pictures there are. Quad never takes an upload — see the privacy page for why.
Password
Changing it signs out every other computer you are logged in on. If you forget it, your six-word recovery phrase below is the way back.
Recovery phrase
Six words that get you back in if you forget your password. Quad only keeps a scrambled copy, so it cannot be shown to you again — if you have lost it, or you never wrote it down, get a new one. The old one stops working.
Log out
Signs this computer out and wipes what was on it, including the private nicknames you gave people. Other computers stay signed in.
What Quad stores about you is on the privacy page.
